“ Participants will design, test, and start building their next chapter before they leap, using a structured methodology that combines entrepreneurship, design thinking, systems thinking & foresight ”.
The Challenge We Address
Most programmes build the venture.
Few design the founder.
Accelerators often focus on products, markets, funding, scale, and pitch decks.
BBYL focuses on the person and pathway behind the venture — identity construction, resilience, systems, behavioural design, futures readiness, and the transition needed to build sustainably.
Design Coherent Futures
You design the MVP and test the prototype — but still question whether your identity, behaviour, and systems can sustainably carry what comes next.
Build Aligned Systems
You may already be building a venture, brand, or new direction — yet the structure, and way of operating still feel fragmented or misaligned.
Apply Strategic Foresight
You may already be seeing results in the present — but increasingly questioning how to navigate what comes next with greater clarity, readiness, and strategic foresight.

A STORY OF LOCAL
POTENTIAL.
Founded by Dr Nasiru Taura alongside international partners — from roots at Jigawa State Polytechnic to UK academia and global innovation ecosystems — PAICA Global helps institutions open credible local-to-global pathways for the next generation.
We work through recognised sponsoring organisations — including universities, polytechnics, government agencies, companies, foundations, and innovation partners — to prepare selected participants through the BBYL Transition Lab experience.

We designed and delivered an engaging, practical, and transformative foresight masterclass for the first European African Acceleration Programme for startups in Greentech, Health-tech, Agri-tech, and Beauty-tech at UM6P France.
Delivered in collaboration with UM6P Africa Business School and Schoolab, the session formed part of the two-day kickoff bootcamp in Paris and supported startups including AgroSfer, Fresh Afrika, NeuralTeks, Beauté INÉE, and GreenAL-Energy.
The experience helped participants rethink their future impact, clarify strategic direction, and explore how foresight tools could support stronger long-term growth decisions.
We designed and delivered immersive entrepreneurial foresight experiences for ventures, professionals, and future managers through the Centre for Entrepreneurship & Excellence at Africa Business School, Morocco.
Using practical tools grounded in foresight, systems thinking, collaborative ecosystems, and design methodologies, participants explored how to navigate uncertainty, rethink opportunities, and build more resilient entrepreneurial pathways.
The sessions supported stronger strategic thinking, long-term orientation, and entrepreneurial readiness across a diverse group of emerging African innovators and leaders.
The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), the apex continental organisation supporting agricultural research and innovation across Africa, engaged us to help synthesise and structure more than a decade of strategic foresight dialogues and collaborative learning.
Working across complex multi-stakeholder environments, we contributed to the development of an organising framework that later supported the successful launch of the Africa Foresight Academy — a first-of-its-kind continental platform focused on futures thinking, strategic readiness, and innovation capacity building.
Today, the Academy continues to support foresight-driven thinking, systems leadership, and long-term strategic planning across African innovation ecosystems.
We designed and facilitated the Managers Accelerator Programme (MAP) for JESA in collaboration with UM6P Executive Education — supporting more than 400 mid-level managers across multiple cohorts and over 100 senior executives through immersive leadership and innovation experiences.
The programme focused on helping managers rethink how high-performing innovative teams are designed, developed, and sustained within rapidly changing organisational environments.
Through practical simulations, entrepreneurial thinking, systems design, collaborative intelligence, foresight methods, and experiential workshops, participants explored how to lead with greater adaptability, ownership, innovation, and long-term strategic awareness.
Rather than traditional management training, the experience helped leaders strengthen the human systems behind performance — including culture, behavioural alignment, resilience, collaboration, innovation readiness, and future-oriented decision-making.
The programme now stands as part of a growing portfolio of executive transition and innovation experiences designed for organisations seeking to build stronger internal leadership ecosystems across Africa and beyond.

People Behind The Journey
YOUR GLOBAL
SUPPORT TEAM
Dr Nasiru Taura’s journey began within the Nigerian polytechnic system before progressing into UK academia, global consulting, entrepreneurship, executive education, and international innovation ecosystems.
After completing his Master’s and PhD in the United Kingdom, he went on to become a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Bournemouth University, later serving as an External Examiner at Nottingham Trent University and Bath Spa University.
Today, his work sits at the intersection of entrepreneurship, systems thinking, foresight, innovation, and transition design — helping founders, executives, institutions, and entrepreneurial ecosystems rethink how people prepare for what comes next.
His work has supported 400+ managers, 100+ senior executives, startup founders, innovation labs, and international organisations across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
These experiences led to the creation of Build Before You Leap™ (BBYL) — a transition and venture-readiness methodology designed to help people build clearer systems, identities, opportunities, and futures before making high-stakes entrepreneurial leaps.
Through PAICA Global and BBYL, his mission is simple: to help local talent access global possibilities with greater clarity, structure, resilience, and intentionality.
Adnane Alaoui Soulimani plays a leading role within the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Morocco.
His work spans startup acceleration, incubation, entrepreneurship awareness, founder support, and innovation ecosystem development through initiatives connected to the UM6P Entrepreneurship & Innovation Lab.
Through the BBYL Transition Lab journey, participants are introduced to the wider UM6P innovation environment in Benguerir — including spaces, activities, and entrepreneurial infrastructure that support movement from idea to venture creation.
Adnane’s experience across programmes such as Impulse and U-Founders brings valuable insight into how African entrepreneurial talent can move from local potential into globally relevant innovation environments.
His role strengthens the Morocco build experience: helping connect the BBYL journey with the wider UM6P ecosystem, where participants can explore, prototype, and build with greater ambition and structure.
Dr Lennox Henry brings more than 25 years of international experience across financial strategy, operational systems, entrepreneurship, compliance, and investment readiness.
As founder of DeNovo Care Consultants and Waypoint Enterprises, he has successfully built and scaled sustainable ventures while supporting organisations through strategic growth and operational transformation.
Within the BBYL Transition Lab experience, Dr Henry helps participants strengthen financial thinking, business modelling, investor readiness, and market preparation through practical entrepreneurial insight and real-world business experience.
His work also includes experience embedding ERP systems, improving operational efficiency, and supporting complex organisational environments — bringing both technical depth and entrepreneurial understanding into the venture-building journey.
Mark Painter brings practical expertise in venture planning, incubation support, collaborative innovation tools, and entrepreneurial strategy development.
He is also the founder of PLANA — a collaborative business planning platform designed to help founders build, refine, and develop venture ideas alongside peers, mentors, and support ecosystems in real time.
Within the BBYL Transition Lab journey, participants may engage with collaborative planning approaches and venture-building structures that support clearer operational thinking, scalable business models, and stronger execution pathways.
His systems-oriented approach helps founders move beyond inspiration into more structured, practical, and implementation-ready entrepreneurial ventures.
